I was very shy in High School. I wasn't very involved in social activities. I am more involved now with Venice than ever before. I had the pleasure of leading the 30 Year Reunion for the Class of '76 with my husband Hans Hass and a wonderful committee as well. It grew from our class alone to inviting the year before and the year after. It was very successful.
Hans and I dated in our Junior year. Both being so shy were afraid to ask what was wrong in the new relationship. All I knew was that Hans didn't call me after our date and all he knew was that my brother kept telling him I never wanted to see him again. 26 years later we met again and the SPARKS were still there. My brothers' won't mess with this Navy Seal now. I kept searching for love and now I have it for the rest of my life. UPDATE: March 13th, 2010 will be our 6 year anniversary.
Shallow men believe in luck, believe in circumstances -- it was somebody's name, or he happened to be there at the time, or it was so then, and another day would have been otherwise. Strong men believe in cause and effect.- Ralph Waldo Emerson
